National Conference Abstracts: (annual postings) of abstracts from workshops and research presented at the annual national conference.
Experiential Education Review: The Journal of the National Society for Experiential Education (EER). The content for this journal primarily would come out of research presented at the annual conference as well as thematic calls to contribute (peer reviewed*).

AER Professional Organizations
American Evaluation Association (AEA) - The American Evaluation Association is an international professional association of evaluators devoted to the application and exploration of program evaluation, personnel evaluation, technology, and many other forms of evaluation. Evaluation involves assessing the strengths and weaknesses of programs, policies, personnel, products, and organizations to improve their effectiveness. AEA has approximately 5500 members representing all 50 states in the US as well as over 60 foreign countries. (http://www.eval.org/).
American Educational Research Association (AERA) - The American Educational Research Association (AERA), founded in 1916, is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results. Association for Institutional Research (AIR) - The Association for Institutional Research (AIR), one of the first organizations to promote the measurement of student learning and the use of student assessment research to increase the effectiveness of higher education, offers its members a wide variety of assessment-related programs and resources. Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) - AAC&U is the leading national association concerned with the quality, vitality, and public standing of undergraduate liberal education. AAC&U works with campuses to set clear goals, plan instruction and curricula to achieve the goals, assess student accomplishment, and revise and improve the whole learning/teaching cycle. Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) - For the ultimate purpose of fostering and enhancing student learning, development, and achievement and in general to promote good citizenship, CAS continues to create and deliver a dynamic and credible Book of Professional Standards and Guidelines and Self-Assessment Guides that are designed to lead to a host of quality-controlled programs and services. These standards respond to real-time student needs, the requirements of sound pedagogy, and the effective management of more than 30 functional areas, consistent with institutional missions. The Forum on Education Abroad (FEA) - The Forum on Education Abroad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as the Standards Development Organization (SDO) for the field of education abroad. The Forum's Standards of Good Practice are recognized as the definitive means by which the quality of education abroad programs may be judged. To further its strategic goal of developing and implementing standards to improve the quality of education abroad programs, the Forum on Education Abroad provides its institutional members with the opportunity to participate in its Quality Improvement Program (QUIP) for Education Abroad. QUIP consists of a guided self-study and peer review process, resulting in a comprehensive report and recommendations in the areas of program design, evaluation and assessment, marketing and promotion, student advising, and resources and operations. http://www.forumea.org/index.cfm
